Speaking of Projects....

Love the bathroom remodel Heather!  I can't wait to see the final product.  

Speaking of projects, I have been trying to talk myself into doing a project around the house each month.  I thought I could mix the bad with the good.  One month do a project like catch up the laundry which (by the way) was supposed to be done in February-I think I am missing that mark ;) and the next do something fun like decorate/redo a room.  

So far on the room "renew" list I have:

The Bathroom

The Sunroom

Finish our Bedroom

Finish the "Coysters" room

I would SO love to hire the help of my amazing friend and co-blogger Heather but sadly enough she is having a baby in less than two months and my design budget is nothing short of SCARY!!  So, I am going to attempt the feat on my own.  

I started gathering color palettes and design ideas to help me in my DIY re-design projects.  Which brings me to my first project I would like to tackle.  Not the most pressing or necessary but the one I know I would enjoy the most (which is usually how I do things-FUN first)!

 I LOVE LOVE this headboard!

 

This is almost my exact wall color and I love the color contrast between the blue, the yellow, the white.  It is so....HAPPY.  You can never get enough of that!

I want to change it up....just a little ;).  I am thinking instead of upholstered I am going to have the hubby cut out the headboard and I will paint it.  Give it more of an artistic/rustic feel.   I am just a little nervous for the undertaking I haven't painted in years.  It will be fun....right?

I have some more pressing business projects on the TO DO before heading into this gem but just thought I would blog about it while it was on my mind.
